The 50 member Pennsylvania Senate is currently controlled by the Republicans, holding 34 seats, with the Senate Democrats holding 16 seats. In the 203 member Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Republicans hold 121 seats, and the Democrats hold 82 seats. Tom Wolf serves as the 47th Governor of Pennsylvania, he is a member of the Democratic Party. With 253 members, the Pennsylvania General Assembly is the largest full time legislature, and the second largest state legislature in the United States.
