The Statehill bot is a web crawling bot (“spider”). Crawling is a the process in which we collect legislative information. The Statehill bot does not just make a huge dump of your site, but it will incrementally scrape specific pages at specific times to a) reduce the overall number of requests b) always make sure that we have the most recent information.
